Melanin.

In but,

mostly calls out. 

Not intentionally but essentially, stands out. 

Beyond the self it gives out. 

Melanin. 

Giving false cues. 

Right place, wrong time. 

A moment. Just give it a moment to breathe. 

He can’t. 

To live. We can’t. To thrive? 

Melanin. 

Takes all but means nothing. 

Says all but means nothing. 

Or is it everything?

Protects all from sun not sons. 

Melanin. 

Beautiful. 

Glistens, but hurts. 

Not intentionally but essentially. 

At times Deadly?

Melanin. 

Beautifully within. 

Visually speaks out,

Consequentially more than it should be.

Melanin. 

Never stays in. 

Must speak out. 

Becoming what it should be:

Inconsequential beauty shown out.
